Target Pest Control has operated in North Alabama since 1990. The original owners developed the business with a strong emphasis on customer service and commitment to quality. In 1998, Keith Chandler purchased Target Pest Control and continues to put that vision into practice today.

Since 1998 Target Pest Control has grown from 2 employees to its current 16 employees and over 7,000 accounts, currently serving 33 Alabama Counties.

Keith Chandler grew up in the pest control industry working for his family in Douglasville, Georgia, where his family still owns and operates Chandler Exterminators. Keith moved to Alabama in 1993 to serve as district manager for a large pest control firm. He decided to put his years of industry experience to work for him by purchasing Target Pest Control in 1998, beginning with a location in Jasper and expanding the business, necessitating the opening of branches in Hanceville to service Blount to Madison counties and in Pelham to take on Jefferson, Shelby, and St. Clair counties. In September 2004 Target Pest Control completed building and moved operations into its corporate office location on US Highway 157 in Cullman with a satellite office located in Trussville.  In 2008, Target opened it's Madison office to service customers in the greater Huntsville area.

In addition to its proven 7-Step Pest Shield general pest control program, Target customizes pest control programs to fit the needs of each customer, including the over 5,000 apartment homes that we currently service companywide.

Target offers full service contractor soil pre-treatment for commercial, residential and industrial projects as well as post-construction termite treatment and control utilizing the best methods tailored to the specific needs of each structure. In the fall of 2004 Target added pre-construction mold prevention to our group of home protection services. With each service and on all occasions we back our company motto, “We Aim to Please”.
